People Playground is an exceptionally violent game that allows you to viscerally destroy stick figures in the manner of your choosing. It has elements of sandbox design and physics-based violence.

If you enjoy violence and gore, this game is for you. You are given a wide array of ways to kill stick figures, including by shooting them, stabbing them, running them over with a tank, and more. The stick figures provide no resistance - they just ragdoll around as you murder them over and over again.

You also aren't just limited to killing them on the ground: You can place them on a boat and wrap an anchor around their necks, tie them to a post and send them to the moon and more. Indeed, you have such a wide array of ways to murder the poor stick figures that you can potentially spend hours of fun designing murder traps for them. This creativity is one of the core tenants of this game, and yes, it does get you thinking and laughing.

The graphics on this game wildly alternate. Flames glow and pop. Blood gushes and oozes. At the same time, pixels on the stick figures get blurry, leaving the player highly confused about the game's overall style. The one good thing here is that the graphics unquestionably emphasize the violence, obstacles, and blood, rather than the stick figures. This makes it clear that you are supposed to be creative and violence, not just harm the poor little stickmen.

The game has been updated numerous times since its July 2019 premiere. It is currently on version 1.8, which included mod support. An active community has built a variety of mods around the game, giving players the chance to have even more fun with it.

The game is available for download on Steam. Unless it's listed as for sale, the price is $9.99.
